My daughters and I have trained with Tania for three years now. Tania has been instrumental in getting me back to riding after catastrophic injury (not horse related!) and invasive surgeries. Without doubt, Tania has been integral in improving my relationship with my hot and tricky Lusitano. She has proactively guided and supported me through the retraining of my ex-show horse as she began her dressage career, and trains us with warmth, humour and a real ‘you can do this’ attitude. With my daughters, she is patient and kind and has built a particularly strong relationship with my younger daughter, who loves her lessons. Tania has overseen my development not only as a dressage rider, but as a rider in general, from my days on ponies right through to stepping up to my first horse and now training two horses from green youngsters through to training towards PSG
Growing up I evented and Tania was fantastic at ensuring we were prepared to produce the best test we were capable of whilst always keeping it fun. My focus is now in the show jumping arena and in producing my horses to be happy and confident in their work. I still have regular lessons with Tania because they are so enjoyable, and they really help me develop my horses’ strength, confidence and self-carriage.
With both horses competing up to 1.40m level, I often use exercises we have worked on with Tania in my warm-ups to ensure the horses are focused, supple and able to perform at their best.
The name Inspire Dressage couldn’t be more accurate. Tania is an incredible trainer who makes you feel like anything is possible whilst still being completely realistic about what is currently achievable and the steps that need to be taken to achieve your goals

I have trained with Tania for the past 15 years, during which time she has helped me develop four very different horses. With her guidance, knowledge and support, each of them progressed far beyond my expectations.
One of Tania’s greatest strengths is her ability to train horses with the owner in mind. Rather than simply producing a horse to go well for herself, she focuses on developing a horse so that it becomes the best possible ride for its owner. She has a very clear understanding of my strengths and limitations as a rider and trains the horses in a way that allows us to perform at our best together. This approach has been invaluable in helping each partnership grow in confidence and effectiveness.
Tania has also helped me source and trial new horses and then supported me in bringing them on and establishing them in the competition environment. Because of her thoughtful and systematic approach, I always feel confident taking my horses out to compete.

Her teaching style is flexible, so she adapts the lesson to how things are going on the day, and has a huge variety of exercises to find what works best. Her test riding knowledge and experience is extremely helpful in gaining higher marks.

It’s hard to describe Tania and her training impact in a few short sentences.
We’ve been a team for almost 15 years and in that time she’s transformed my riding and competing but more importantly we’ve had a lot of fun along the way.
Shes supported me to train and compete everything from feral 4yr olds to Small Tour at premier league (in at the deep end)! With a few feral adult horses along the way. She’s stood in the freezing cold, boiling hot, every kind of weather. She’s retrained my naughty inside hand, cried with me, laughed with me and celebrated every small step and all the big wins at every stage.
I don’t believe there’s any horse she can’t train because she has such a wide range of tools! I feel very lucky to have Tania as chief instructor and lifelong friend. Long may it continue.
